Together with my team I want to offer you the best possible care. On this website you will find how my practice is organized, what expertise we have, how you can reach us, how you can get a repeat-prescription, what to do in case of an emergency, and a lot more. Opening hours & Emergencies

Monday to Friday:  8.00 – 12.30 and 13.30 – 17.00 hrs

The practice is closed every day between 12.30 – 13.30 hrs and Thursday after 12.30 hrs

 

Practive is cloced because of holiday / scholing

If you need a general practitioner for an emergent matter during our absence, you can call our practice and press 9. You will be automatically connected to one of the available practices in Wassenaar.

Repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions can be requested 24 hours a day (not during our absence):

You can also ask your pharmacy about the repeat prescription service. You pass the doctersoffice this way.

 

Repeat prescriptions can be picked up at your pharmacy after two workingdays:

How do we work?

 

Consultations  

Consultations are held only on appointment. 

on Monday till Friday between 8.00 - 11.00 and between 14.00 - 15.30 hrs. Thursday-afternoon there is no docters-consultation, only assistant-consultation.

Ten minutes are reserved for a consultation. You can only come for one problem at the time. If you require more time, please let us know by scheduling your appointment.

 

Accordingly, thursdayafternoon after 12.30 you can’t reach us by phone. If you can’t wait until the next day and really need a GP, you can contact Dr. Van Dongen, Buurtweg 113a, tel (070) 517 96 76 or Dr. Kettenis, Hofcampweg 65, tel (070) 511 24 60.

House calls   The general practitioner only make house calls to patients who are unable to visit the practice for medical reasons. You can request a house call for the same day through my assistants between 08.00 - 11.00

Consultations by phone  

Consultation by phone is available by appointment only. You can request a consultation by phone from the assistant between 8.00 and 10.00.

Charlotte van Berne, nurse practitioner - works on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

You can make an appointment with her for:

Diabetes, Astma and COPD, high blood pressure, Hartfaillure, Elder care, quitting smoking, Doppler.

You can contact the assitants for:

  • Consultation with the general practitioner

  • House calls

  • Telephone consultation with the general practitioner

  • Consultation the primary care assistant

  • Pap smear

  • Repeat prescriptions, or

  • An appointment with the assistants themselves for: woundcare, injections, warts, blood pressure, removing wax from ears, removing stitches, Urine control, CRP control, ECG and Holter.

  • We have reserved Thursdays afternoon and Friday for this. Please call the assistant for an appointment in advance.

 

Psychological help

Mental health care from a psychologist can be arranged by our practice. The care is readily accessible and there is a short waiting list. The care falls under basic health services if you have a Dutch Insurance. Consultations are held in the Health Centre at Hofcampweg 65.

Non Appearance Fee

It is inconvenient for a practice if a patient does not appear at an appointment. We lose time and it also means that somebody else could have been helped who was turned down. To reduce the number of no-shows and to compensate the costs of not coming to an appointment, we charge a fee.

This fee is charged directly to the patient. The insurance does generally not pay it  because no medical care was provided.

You have to cancel the appointment 12 hours in advance.

If you do not cancel your appointment in time we will send you an invoice.
