Non-Appearance Fee

It is inconvenient for the practice when a patient does not attend at a scheduled appointment. We waste valuable time and it also means that somebody else could have been helped who had to be turned down. To minimise the number of no-shows and to compensate the costs of not coming to an appointment, we charge a non-appearance fee.

This fee is charged directly to the patient. The insurance generally does generally cover it since no medical care was provided.

You have to cancel the appointment 24 hours in advance.

If you do not cancel your appointment in time, we will send you an invoice of the non-appearance fee.
